Wishing everyone a happy holiday season! This piece goes out to my dear friend and creator of the storybook we are working on, Kyle Sawyer.

Snooker & Banestock
This was a commission piece made on 9x12 paper and finished with watercolor. The person requested Snoopy and Woodstock as the Joker and Bane from the Batman movies. It was difficult for me to picture this but once I started sketching it out it all fell into place. In the end, this was a lot of fun to do! :)
Princess Sophie Redesign Sketches
Some quick sketches. Working on redesigning this character for a children's storybook I am working on with my friend, Kyle. More to come!

BCC Aftermath + To Do List
Welp, Baltimore Comic Con has come and gone and it went pretty well. Thanks to everyone who came out and showed support. I greatly appreciate it. Didn't get much time to walk around but from what I saw there were a lot more artists around than last year. I always leave inspired and motivated to continue moving forward in terms of drawing. So again on to my To-Do List:
• Rogue Nouveau poster
• Gambit Nouveau poster
• Legend of Korra poster
And on that note, Kyle and I are back at it again, we are revamping the fabulous Princess Sophie Storybook which has gone through some changes but for the better! So excited to get on this again! Look out for updates!

Team Avatar COMPLETE!
Avatar: The Last Airbender hands down is one of the best series out there. I wanted to show my love of each of the characters with this poster. Challenges arose with how to color this but ultimately went with digital. I'm pretty happy with how this came out. Hope to do a Legend of Korra one in the near future ;)
Runaways + Young Avengers
A year in the making but this is finally done!!!! Got the lovely Lee ([link]) to color this baby up and she did an amazing job! Extremely happy with how this turned out!

WIP: X-Men Minis
Grrrr, didn't get to finish this tonight but almost there. Gotta figure out how to put that "X" in the BG and add some special effects to Archangel's wings and Wolverine's slash marks.

X-Women Minis: The Process
Here is a look from start to finish of the X-Women Minis Poster:
STEP 1: I did this quick thumbnail, just laying out the characters and arranging all the elements on the page. I haven't been drawing in a while so I wanted to draw something simple enough and fun but also something I could really add details too.
STEP 2: Here I looked up the 90's costumes of these characters. Wasn't really concerned with the poses I was going to use but more just getting the look and outfits for them.
STEP 3: First I laid out the pencils and once I was happy with it inked the figures to finalize.
STEP 4: So the plan was to do the background and powers using watercolors. This was the first layer of watercolors...takes lots of patience to work with.
STEP 5: After the first layer dried I then applied the following layers. Starting to build up that Phoenix bird.
STEP 6: All the powers completed, decided to add storm clouds on the bottom of the page to contrast the Phoenix up above.
STEP 7: Filled in the rest of the background. Had a lil accident and spilled black ink over some of Rogue and Storm but thankfully it's nothing Photoshop won't be able to fix. Now done with the watercolors part.

Young Avengers Flats
This is the second part of the poster set with the Young Avengers! This half was flatted by the awesome Annette Torres. Many thanks to her, she was able to figure out all the complexities in this piece.
Runaways Flats
A poster that has taken about a year in the making. This is the first half of the Runaways/Young Avengers piece. I flatted this part of the poster.

Have I been drawing...hmm very minimally...I do have a project in the works though which I will be posting some new stuff on. Need to spark up some motivation and dedicate some time to my art again.
